We recently had a Sunday lunch at ONDO, and it was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. We made a reservation for four at 1 PM, and the elegant vibe of the restaurant immediately set the tone for a special meal. To start, I ordered the Korean Pear drink, which was a perfect blend of vodka, Korean pear juice, honey, and lemon juice. It was flavorful yet light and not too sweet - just the right balance. The drink menu, much like the rest of the restaurant, felt upscale and thoughtfully curated. For food, my husband opted for the tasting course, which was impressive in both variety and presentation. It included Beef Tartare, Grilled Branzino, Galbi-jjim, and a Bibimbap set meal - each course carefully crafted and delicious. I chose the Spicy Seafood Tofu Soup, which was a standout for me. It had soft and fried tofu, scallop, baby octopus, and shrimp, and the flavors were rich and comforting. Other members of our table went for the Spicy Korean Fried Chicken lunch special and the Bulgogi lunch special, both of which were well-received. The upscale take on traditional Korean dishes really shone through in each of our meals. We finished off with dessert, and I'm glad we did. We ordered one of each item on the dessert menu: Black Sesame Ice Cream, Honeycomb Toffee Panna Cotta, and Banana Cake. All three were unique and a sweet end to a fantastic meal. Overall, ONDO delivers an elevated Korean dining experience with a beautifully curated menu and an elegant atmosphere. Been meaning to check out ONDO for a while now. I'm a huge fan of Domo Domo, so when I had heard they also opened ONDO I knew there was a good chance it'd be great. My partner and I made reservations through Resy, though there was open seating when we got there. It's the sort of space where if you're more than a party of three you should probably book a reservation. Our waiter was very nice, give us time to look at the menu and made sure to answer any questions . something to note, is that the menu has a ton of spicy dishes on it. I'm not the biggest fan of spicy, I have to be in the mood for it, so we decided to split a couple of the non-spicy dishes. Duck salad - My partner and I loved this dish so much that he's going to try to recreate it at home. The salad dressing is bright and paired really well with the simplicity of the duck. Beef Tartare - This was an interesting take and I really enjoyed it. The beef was cut into ribbons instead of a mash like a normal tartare. Made it a lot easier to maneuver with chopsticks. Charred Bulgogi - This was SO good! Whatever way they prepared the short rib made it perfect. The meat practically melts in your mouth. Bossam - This was definitely my least favorite. It's a little like fajitas in that you make your own lettuce wraps. Some of the pork had big chunks of fat in it and I wasn't too big a fan of the sauce they included. My partner enjoyed the radish kimchi that was included. Overall, definitely going back. It's a little on the pricey side, but the food and ambiance makes it totally worth it.

I've been wanting to go here for awhile and I finally was able to get around to it. I cannot say enough good things. Great date night place for sure. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!
